Over the last four years, I’ve been able to generate multiple six figures just by providing an online service. As the rapid growth of software, AI, and the expansion of the internet progresses, moving forward into the future, there are going to be many opportunities for others to do the same exact thing, just utilizing different vehicles to do so.
All right, welcome back. If you’re new to the channel, my name is Matt Jimenez. I’ve been an entrepreneur for the last 5 to 6 years, and I’ve been able to work with the greatest minds when it comes to finance. Over the last several years, I’ve been able to absorb everything that they’ve poured into me like a sponge, and I’m going to regurgitate it all back here for you guys so you could be the sponge on the opposite side of this screen.
So without further ado let’s jump right to it. Today’s video is going to be completely different. Normally I go over some financial news or market analysis or I document my trading account that I’m utilizing with the Nurp software. In this one, I want to talk about my journey and I’m not going to be long-winded and give you all the ins and outs and all the crazy stories about it because I have tons. Maybe if I get enough engagement in the comments I’ll tell you guys more and more about it, but for the simplicity of this video I just want to talk about how I have been able to generate several six figures and what I’m doing with it currently and what I’m projected to do with it moving into the next decade of my life.
So how I built it: back in 2017 I started a podcast and on that podcast I was building my own personal brand and my buddy at the time was remotely decent with the ability to create Graphics or Stitch a video together. So I had this guest on and his name is Mark Moss and from that podcast, he asked me if I can do his online branding for him because he needed content. Before he could even finish the sentence, I said “yes, absolutely; in fact, we currently do it right now”. Which wasn’t a lie but kind of was a lie because my partner was doing it for a tax company. but that was totally separate. So, basically, I gave Mark the price of what it would cost to take my partner out of that job and put a little bit of cash in our pockets so we can afford some ramen noodles.
Sure enough, he closed and that was the start of an SMMA – a social media marketing agency. Little did I know what that even was back then, I actually just found out what this term is kind of recently because I’ve just been so in the nitty-gritty of doing the actual task I don’t care for the fancy titling or what it is, this or that. I’m just conducting business and all that business is is providing a service that solves an issue for somebody. When Mark presented this problem of not having a brand, I presented the solution of having a brand and us being able to do it for him. Shortly after, he asked if we could come out to an event he was having in Arizona because he needed some video coverage; and at the time I didn’t even have a camera but I said “absolutely”. within the same exact moment I was finishing that sentence, I was already heading to my car to get in and go to Best Buy and buy the camera that I was going to use on this trip that I already had agreed to in that exact moment.
I went to this event in Arizona and one thing led to the next I shook hands with Robert Kiyosaki and met him, and lo and behold this Mastermind that he’s a guest at actually needed tons of video coverage and content as well, so that became the next client. Then I shook hands with another person and they had a shipping company that was an app revolving around being able to interact with buyers and sellers, and lo and behold that was another client. I went to Arizona with only $4,000 in revenue for the company entirely, and I came back from Arizona with an extra $10,000 to $15,000 a month in revenue just closing a few clients out there.
But, there was also another major hack that allowed me to grow this company.
