Gold Trading Software Review: Gold Digger Algorithm Performance Breakdown

Introduction to Gold Digger Trading Software

It’s no secret algorithmic trading is completely dominating the trading space, and quite frankly, most of you guys that tune into this channel love to see the results that I’ve been getting in my $50,000 account utilizing the FED bot, which is an algorithmic trading software issued by Nurp. But today, I want to do something a little bit different in regards to what software I’m going to be tracking. So, without further ado, let’s get straight to it.

Welcome back! If you’re new to the channel, my name is Matt Jimenez. I’m an entrepreneur who has worked with the greatest minds in finance over the last several years, and I’m here to pour into you guys everything that they’ve poured into me. If you’re a fan of the channel, then you’re probably interested in or have at least watched most of our videos revolving around the $50,000 algorithmic trading account that I’ve been documenting for you guys because, quite frankly, they’re the most popular and the most inquired about.

What Makes Gold Digger Different From Other Algorithmic Trading Software

So, in this video, instead of covering the FED bot software, I actually want to do something a bit different. If you’re unaware, Nurp has several software options that you can license, and what I want to do is uncover one of the other software options that have been running for over a year now. This software is actually called the Gold Digger. The difference between this software and the others is basically what asset it’s trading. If you don’t know, the FED bot trades currencies, and the Gold Digger focuses on gold — of course, it’s in the name.

Verified MyFXBook Performance Data for Gold Digger

Now, let’s look at the data. Here is the MyFXBook link to the Gold Digger account. This is the third-party verifier that tracks and keeps all the data, which I present to you guys if you’re unfamiliar with it. To the far right, where you can see this chart, this is our equity curve starting all the way back from March 21st, 2023, up to the current date, which is May 21st, 2024. So, a little bit over a year documenting this exact strategy specific for gold. In that time, we did a whopping 221%, with a daily change in profit of 27%. So, every day this account on average is doing 27% in profit. Monthly, it’s doing 8.54%, so almost 9% every single month on average. When we speak on averages, it’s an accumulation of the greatest to the worst and everything in between.

Understanding Monthly Averages and Gold Trading Performance

I see a lot of people and a lot of questions that come through saying, “Well, this month it didn’t do the number that you said it did.” You’re right; it’s an average. An average is taking, like I said, the highest number, the lowest number, and everything in between, and then getting the average from that. It’s not an exact guarantee. So, while this account says 8.54% monthly, don’t expect every single month to be 8.54%. A lot of people think extremely literally when you say “monthly” because I don’t think they understand how averages work. If they did, they would never be confused about it. So, I just wanted to clear that up briefly.

Gold Digger Drawdown, Balance Growth, and Risk Profile

Now, let’s get back to the chart. The max drawdown is quite hefty on this one; it is 46%. Hefty, that is, in comparison to my FED bot account, because I believe my FED bot’s largest drawdown, which is extremely conservative settings, was just shy of 3%, which is extremely low and extremely risk-averse. So, on this one, a 46% drawdown is a big difference from what we are normally tracking on my FED bot. This account started with $10,000, and as you can see, the balance is $26,490.73. So that means we’ve profited $16,490.73 since the creation of this account.

Gold Digger Profit Breakdown: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly Results

Today, it did 0.31%, which is $80 in profit, which is 220 pips. This week, it’s done 1.23%, which is $321 for the week, and it’s done 883 pips. For the month, it’s done 5.99%, so almost 6%, which is a total profit of $1,497, and it’s done 2,003 pips. Now, for the year, we’ve already done 51.9%, which is amazing—definitely on track to probably do another 100% in this account. But, of course, past performance is not going to dictate our future performance, so that’s just me using my common sense to say if we’ve already done 50% in two quarters, more than likely we could do another 50% for the remainder of this year, which is a little bit greater than 24%, and I don’t think that’s asking too much. Profit in total is $8,968.57, and it’s a grand total of 16,300 pips.

Gold Digger Trade Frequency and Win Rate Overview

Let’s check out some of the other stats. The amount of trades that this thing does— you’ll notice a bit of a difference in comparison to the FED bot that we normally document because the FED bot on my account—we’ve already done over 3,000 trades. On this one, we’ve actually only done 687 trades, so it’s a massive difference in its frequency when you’re comparing it to the other one that I’ve been tracking for everyone. Now, the profitability—let’s check this thing out. So, out of all those trades, we won 646 trades, which means we have a 94% profitability. We’ve only lost 41 trades out of the 687 trades, which is only 6% of trades that we’ve lost, which is absolutely incredible. Pips captured, we’ve done 28,000. The average win is 136 pips, and the average loss is 1,460 pips, which is quite a difference.

Risk-to-Reward Profile: Profit Factor and Average Pip Movement

Now, let’s look over to the right of this. The profit factor is super important because this shows us what our risk-to-reward ratio is on this software, and a 1.96 is quite healthy. This means we’re gaining almost two to every one that we risk, which is a very healthy number. Typically, you would want to see at least a 2R on the profit factor, which is basically a 2.0, and we are basically there sitting at 1.96.

Now, for the exciting part, let’s go ahead and scroll down and check out how we’ve been doing for the year of 2024.

Gold Digger Monthly Performance: 2024 and 2023 Data

So, the first month of 2024, which is January, of course, we did 6.19%. In February, we did 5.26%. In March, we did 8.87%. In August, 17.41%—that’s a crazy number, that’s a crazy month. Moving over to May, we did 5.99%, which is right now the 21st when I’m filming this. So, it’s safe to say that we will definitely close the month at over 6%, considering there are about 10 days, 9 days left in the month.

Now, let’s go back to 2023 and see how we did when we first started the account. So, the account first started in March when it was live, and we only did 3.86%. In April, we did 4.22%. In May of last year, we did 15.96%, almost 16%. That’s incredible. In June, we did 11.14%. That’s amazing. In July, 10.06%. In August, 4.02%. In September, 3.98%, almost 4% for September. October, 13.17%. November, 7.53%. And in December, we did 8.3%.

Final Thoughts on Gold Digger Algorithm Performance

Now, looking at all of that data, I am extremely impressed with the Gold Digger. One thing you may realize, as I did, is we actually didn’t see a losing month—not once, which is quite interesting considering the drawdown was a bit different than what I’m used to seeing on my FED bot. I’m very curious: would you guys like to see me fund an account utilizing the Gold Digger and changing the risk settings to see what this account can actually do? If you’re interested in that, leave a comment, and if we get enough comments, I’ll start an account funded in the Gold Digger software to see how well it actually does utilizing my own capital.

And if you’re interested in possibly licensing this software or any of the other ones, then go ahead and hit the link that I left for you in the description and in the pinned comments. But either way, please leave a like and subscribe. And like always, my friends, peace.
